Genetically altered ingredients are found in up to 70% of all processed foods found in grocery store shelves today. Unfortunately, even health food store shelves are commonly stocked with items containing these very questionable ingredients. Chances are, foods you are consuming on a routine basis contain something that has been genetically modified. Research is beginning to show that there could very serious consequences for making such radical changes to our food.
At this class we will learn more about genetically modified foods and the potential problems that they can cause to our environment and our health. Our resident GMO expert, Angie Martin will be sharing what she has learned in her recent in-depth study about this important topic.
